Well, coffee shops and cafes are filled in the psyche of the city; from good old greasy spoon to gourmet roasters you will find everything here. Enjoying a tea and coffee are the real renaissance of the moment. Not only, there will be a variety of dishes being dished; but also a different type of places doing the dishing. With the pretty selection of coffee shops and cafes, it’s a bit confusing to get your perfect fit.
Bonbon
Chocolate haven Bonbon has been the perfect destination for having a coffee; that’s the reason it has been taken quickly under the Northern Quarter’s wing. With a heady blend of chocolates, coffee and luxury, Bonbon is a joint venture between Joey Collins of Troffel and Teacup who have offered a boutique feel to this amazing place with dark wooden furniture and curious paper bag lamps.
Takk
Takk has a plentiful fun and excitement. The interior of Takk is well-equipped with exposed brickwork, graffiti marked school desks and very strong coffee. Beans have come from a myriad of places with roasters The Barn Berlin having the feature on the roster.
Fig & Sparrow
Fig & Sparrow is considered as the ‘Lifestyle Store and Coffee Bar’ and it’s even the best place to head for a brew and having a gorgeous item for your kitchen. However, coffee is sourced from the north eastern institution Ringtons and the coffee is used in everything from Macchiatos to Cappuccinos. The milk has also come from a local diary which offers a perfect companion to the deep Ringtons roast. There is also a huge selection of loose leaf teas from the exotic samovar orange spice to the bolstering builder’s tea.
North Tea Power
Located at the Northern Quarter’s creative room, North Tea Power offers a casual chic with a rough attitude to both food and drink. Even, you can expect here the intimidating array of loose leaf teas with the illuminating coffee filled with guest espressos and seasonal offerings, such as Deerhunter’s Ethiopian and Costa Rican combination.
